The DA-20mkII is a professional DAT recorder for studios on a budget.
The DA-20mkII’s feature set is well-suited for project studios, broadcast situations, or home studios. Supporting recording and playback at 32kHz, 44.1kHz, and 48kHz, it is instantly compatible with all standard DAT players.

Since the wireless remote is included, this DAT player doesn’t have to be in reach to be in use.

The 3 space rack mount chassis design, uncommon at this price point, makes integration into studio or mobile racks simple and solid. Also uncommon at this price point is the digital audio interface. The DA-20mkII provides SPDIF Input /Output on Coaxial lines, with selectable SCMS code. (SCMS code can limit distribution of your masterpiece with digital subcodes.)

The DA-20mkII can easily override SCMS, allowing you to copy your own works as often as you wish. At an MSRP only $975, the DA-20mkII is the least expensive way to do professional digital recording and mastering.
