The MX-2424 offers 24-tracks of 24bit, 48-kHz hard disk recording right out of the box using its international 9.1 GB hard drive.

With it’s recently announced version 2.0 software, you also can choose to use the MX-2424 as a 12-track, 96kHz recorder.

To extend recording times, you connect additional hard drives to the MX-2424 via its Ultra 2 SCSI interface that’s accessible in the front-panel drive bay as well as a rear panel SCSI port.

In addition to standard stereo AES/EBU and S/PDIF inputs and outputs, the MX-2424 offers a variety of optional multichannel audio interfaces that include audiophile-quality, analog, TDIF, ADAT and AES/EBU modules.
